With California in its third year of drought, it’s time to start conserving water. You can do this by doing at least one of the following, or by combining conservation practices:
Switch to native or drought tolerant landscaping.
Install a satellite based sprinkler system. You can conserve water by programming the types of plants, soil, sun, etc. into each zone on the system. The system reads a satellite based weather report every day and waters accordingly. If you live in the Irvine Ranch Water District, visit their website for rebate information.
Switch your spray head sprinkler system out with a drip system. These water more efficiently, saving thousands of gallons of water each year…and money too!
