Rally Against Climate Change

On February 17, 350.org will hold a rally in Washington, DC, entitled "Solve the Climate Crisis. Take a stand Mr. President."

Those of us who can't make it to DC are determined to make our L.A. rally, similarly, our largest one ever, too.

We plan on starting at 1:00 p.m. on that Sunday afternoon near La Placita at Olvera St. & marching to City Hall where a rally w/various speakers will be held. One organizer mentioned that we should wear black (symbolizing the oil pipeline). IN ORDER FOR THIS VISION TO COME TRUE--for us to send a loud, clear message to Washington that Los Angeles cares deeply about stopping this pipeline and being able to retreat from the brink of the catastrophic climate changes that would follow--WE MUST ALL WORK DILIGENTLY TO GET THE MASSES OUT TO THIS RALLY. Our hope is to have 1000 people attend & we are contacting and mobilizing all the environmental & other like-minded groups in the area in order to see this vision through. Please share this link!  We need your help in order to make this a hugely successful rally!

If you live in Orange County, a large group are taking the Metro Link.  We have a group meeting at the Irvine Metro Link for the 9 am departure.  Please join us!
